Nitrogen deficiency-Wheat

Symptoms
Characteristic symptoms of N deficiency are reduced vigor, smaller leaves and a pale green or yellowish leaf color. The symptoms first become visible on the old leaves which turn yellow and wither at progressing deficiency. Extreme N deficiency causes early senescence and diminished ear size.

Reasons
Nitrogen deficiency (left) Sulphur deficiency, low pH and root damage cause similar symptoms.
